Sonar Testing
HOW CAN RIDGEBACK RATTLER DOWNRIGGER WEIGHTS MAKE THE REST OF YOUR SPREAD PRODUCE?
As captains reported increased activity with their long line presentations while running the Ridgeback Rattlers we asked WHY?
How could a downrigger weight make your spread more active?
- RIDGEBACK RATTLERS LEAVE A “SONIC TRAIL” THAT ACTIVE FISH CAN FOLLOW. Sonar tests have proven that the “sonic trail” left by the Ridgeback Rattler as it runs through the water remains present for longer than expected.
- The closest example of what this under water “trail” looks like would be to compare it to the vapor trail that is left in the sky after a aircraft flies over. Predatory fish are able to pick up this trail and follow it to its source!!!! The Ridgeback Rattler!
- Captains have reported fish coming from over 60 ft. away to investigate the Ridgeback Rattler and their spread. The sonic signature is so strong that in low light conditions one captain reported a strike on the tail of the Ridgeback as evidenced by the teeth marks left in the paint!!
